International Relationship - Built a centre for Jakarta down syndrome children (与印尼狮子会联办福利活动)

This was a joint project with our sister club – Lions club of Jakarta Mutiara Prima, Indonesia, to build a three storey school building named “Yayasan Kasih Bunda” for ninety disabled students who used to sit on the floor to study. The cost of building was >USD50,000. We had made four visits to Jakarta for the purpose of site visits/fund raising event/others. This project was reported in a few Indonesian local newspapers and other media.

Mobile Sight First (免费提供視力檢查、眼鏡给贫穷学生)

This is another project which helps selected students from the lower income group. There are many students who do not even realize they are shortsighted until we screen their eye-sight. Their parents cannot afford to buy glasses for them and these students are disadvantaged in their study. We provide free eye-screening and free spectacles for the selected students.

Education Fund Project - Annual Scholarship for Students (常年学生助学金)
